The tension between the El Pichu F.C. and the Monte Grande F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 51st minute, Monte Grande F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adan Llope fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 52nd minute, Alonzo Cesario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Abalos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Cesario in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Abalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Lope hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Benicio Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mariano Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Cesario during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Alonzo Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the El Pichu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Cesario couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Monte Grande F.C's Jorge Abalos got control of the ball when Alonzo Cesario tried to sneak it across the goal line.
