The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of El Pichu F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GENERAL CHALA:s goal. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for GENERAL CHALA. Ildefonso Iraido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Santio. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ubarna notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GENERAL CHALA's Lázaro Rius. Lázaro Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in GENERAL CHALA's zone, Alonzo Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Rius came out of the goal and Alonzo Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Samuel Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lázaro Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Alonzo Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pichu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Samuel Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GENERAL CHALA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ildefonso Iraido hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Adan Llope made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Rius. GENERAL CHALA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 40th minute, Adan Llope made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Rius. The supporters of El Pichu F.C. booed when GENERAL CHALA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Pichu F.C.'s Adan Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, El Pichu F.C.'s Alonzo Cesario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Rius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Rius having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GENERAL CHALA's zone, Clodoveo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Rius came out of the goal and Clodoveo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GENERAL CHALA's Lázaro Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save GENERAL CHALA from getting a goal against them. Clodoveo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Rius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Lázaro Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Lope in the 68th minute of play. If Orlando Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Samuel Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pichu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Pichu F.C.'s Mariano Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Jerrald in the 78th minute of play. Alonzo Cesario struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Lázaro Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pichu F.C.. Mariano Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Jerrald in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Ruperto Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Cesario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Lázaro Rius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
