In the 17th minute, Miguel Faron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Erasto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Felix Neto was a little too slow when Erasmo Abella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de La Plata's Javier Garin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Erasto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jesus Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Javier Garin made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Erasto. Nibelung Valesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 36 played minutes Nibelung Valesti got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Sal. Jesus Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Garin in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Abella came free, but Felix Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Garin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Faron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Javier Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nibelung Valesti booed when Estudiantes de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Felix Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes, Nibelung Valesti's Uriel Weather shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felix Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nibelung Valesti reached it. Javier Garins short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Jesus Erasto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Abella came free, but Felix Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Garin might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Garin ran back to his position shaking his head. Federico Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Felix Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nibelung Valesti defense, Javier Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Erasto. The Nibelung Valesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Erasto should have stopped the shot. Felix Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Chuan in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Miguel Faron took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Jesus Erasto to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Chuan in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
