Galisteo's Delmar Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Galisteo from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Galisteo's zone, Uriel Quico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Osasun came out of the goal and Uriel Quico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Aparicio getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Carlos Pere hit a great ball. The supporters of Galisteo booed when Aparicio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aparicio's Domingo Soter got a free kick in the 49th minute. In the 50th minute, Angelo Urtun made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Guillelmo. Aparicio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Quico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Sidro's late challenge caught a Aparicio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Sidro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galisteo's Vinicio Sidro got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Godfredo Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Delmar Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Godfredo Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Guillelmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Iyan went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
