In the 19th minute, Javier Garin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bruno Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Rolado in the 25th minute of the match. Bruno Irrintzi came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de La Plata's Javier Garin. But to his dismay, Javier Garin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Estudiantes de La Plata's Felix Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de La Plata from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Luzea's late challenge caught a Sportia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Prudencio Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Rolado to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sportia FC booed when Estudiantes de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Luzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Enrique Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Neto having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Javier Garin sped through Sportia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Irrintzi. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
