Quebrachito's Orlando Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Godofredo Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Urko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jesus Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Rufio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Urko in the 90th minute of play forced Nibelung Valesti's goalkeeper Jesus Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Quebrachito fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Quebrachito's Orlando Urko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erasmo Abella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Chinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
