Cannabicos Unidos's Jonas Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Rik in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Malaspina AFC's Hector Tadzio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Benitez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Inge didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Feliciano Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cannabicos Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Ramos couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Ramos got free with Christian Inge in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Feliciano Ramos fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Christian Inge moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. After a rather tough play, Malaspina AFC's Gregorio Rik got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hector Tadzio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaspina AFC. If Feliciano Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gregorio Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malaspina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Rik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Tadzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siro Ikatz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gregorio Rik struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonas Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaspina AFC. The referee gave Cannabicos Unidos a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvio Cayo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malaspina AFC's Christian Inge. 2-0. Gregorio Rik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Benitez having to make a save. When Erubiel Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cannabicos Unidos's protests and gave Erubiel Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. Erubiel Bartolome hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cannabicos Unidos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malaspina AFC for a fine match.
