The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Astor Roldanillo put in a rough tackle. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Chascomús. Urbano Ordono stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Cordaryal. 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Nicasio Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSyD UNION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chascomús the free kick. Constantino Garin took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Ospin. Abelardo Ospin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 39 minutes of play Chascomús's Gustavo Diaz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ernesto Cordaryal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lucio Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Ruy made a kick off. Florencio Gurutz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Ernesto Cordaryal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernesto Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Chascomús's Esteban Ruy. But to his dismay, Esteban Ruy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A hard shot 61 in the game by Esteban Ruy from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Cordaryal managed to make a qualified save. CSyD UNION's players were relieved. After 63 minutes, Venancio Maiorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chascomús and the CSyD UNION players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Venancio Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lucio Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSyD UNION's Nicasio Primeiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silverio Silviano in the 80 minute of the game. Eustacio Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Abelardo Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lucio Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSyD UNION's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Xabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Ospin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cordaryal having to interfere. Lucio Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ernesto Cordaryal made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Esteban Ruy sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Ruy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Ernesto Cordaryal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chascomús were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant CSyD UNION side.
