Jacinto Refugio took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Garcia. Filomeno Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcelo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Moreira's Marcelo Franco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jacinto Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Wincenty Dziechciowski made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Atilano Gorbea sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, C A MADERENSE's Carolo Bordat got a free kick in the 21st minute. Marcelo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Garcia having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermegildo Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Carolo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wincenty Dziechciowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Garcia having to interfere. Wincenty Dziechciowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Gorbea in the 44th minute. Filomeno Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jacinto Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Moreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Refugio couldn't finish the play. After the first half Moreira were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Bordat was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Filomeno Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Moreira's Ermegildo Laurendi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Refugio in the 56th minute of play forced C A MADERENSE's goalkeeper Filomeno Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Moreira's Jacinto Refugio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filomeno Garcia. Filomeno Garcia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Carolo Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. C A MADERENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincenty Dziechciowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ermegildo Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Refugio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Garcia was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Valentin Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Marcelo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C A MADERENSE's Valentin Bladi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jacinto Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Garcia having to interfere. Moreira's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
