After having played for 28 minutes, Jacinto Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Matro's late challenge caught a Moreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Matro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Esteban Ruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Laurendi ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Refugio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Ospin saved Chascomús from getting behind. Abelardo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Chascomús's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Laurendi came free, but Abelardo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
