Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Erlantz started the match with the kick off. The supporters of La Banda booed when CROACIA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Diego Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. CROACIA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Emeterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CROACIA F.C's Pablo Oxarra got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pablo Oxarra hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, La Banda's Jacobo Mikolas tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Felix Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Hori in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Ladislao Toro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Emeterio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, one of CROACIA F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felix Emeterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Diego Hori made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Banda's Felix Emeterio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Feliberto Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hilario Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Hori was the one to do the kick off. Diego Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Erlantz's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 65 played minutes Diego Hori rounded La Banda's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Hori got free with Felix Emeterio in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, La Banda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Emeterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliberto Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Oxarra charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Oxarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Virgilio Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Machado having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CROACIA F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
