Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Derwin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abelardo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Erlantz in the 7th minute of play. Chascomús's Abelardo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Duardo in the 8th minute of play. Felix Emeterio made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Esteban Ruy sent off a good shot on target. Felix Emeterio was a little too slow when Esteban Ruy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Maiorga in the 18th minute of play forced La Banda's goalkeeper Felix Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, La Banda's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Derwin came free, but Felix Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Abelardo Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Erlantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Derwin in the 46th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Chascomús's Felix Emeterio threw himself towards the right post 49 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonas Derwin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Chascomús's Roque Arce got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Virgilio Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Erlantz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Ospin was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. La Banda's Virgilio Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Virgilio Erlantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chascomús's Abelardo Ospin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ruy in the 76th minute of play forced La Banda's goalkeeper Felix Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amado Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chascomús fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Banda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
