After a defensive mix-up in C A MADERENSE's zone, Virgilio Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Garcia came out of the goal and Virgilio Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes C A MADERENSE got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gitano. Filomeno Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Erlantz in the 29th minute of play. Amado Duardo scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes, Domingos Gitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C A MADERENSE and the La Banda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, one of C A MADERENSE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C A MADERENSE. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Garci during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Garci kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Erlantz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carolo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Felix Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
