Tigre's Marcelino Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lauaxeta in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Claus came free, but Marcelino Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Tigre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabian Claus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Leonel Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Iraido was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Zeledon Jago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeledon Jago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Tigre's Marcelino Iraido got control of the ball when Leonel Arano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Fernan Osoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RODELFI F.C the free kick. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fernan Osoro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Resto in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Abilio saved RODELFI F.C from getting behind. Tigre's Marcelino Iraido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Tigre from getting a goal against them.

Fabian Claus struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Marcelino Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RODELFI F.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Remigio Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Txomin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Abilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Jago charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Jago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Jago hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Anier Abilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Txomin's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Valentin Lauaxeta fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RODELFI F.C's protests and gave Valentin Lauaxeta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RODELFI F.C's Valentin Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 68th minute. Elpidio Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Abilio having to interfere. Anier Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Remigio Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anier Abilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Abilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Txomin in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Elpidio Resto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Abilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marcelino Iraido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Arano in the 88th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tigre's Remigio Txomin in the 90th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Anier Abilio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for RODELFI F.C through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Claus in the 94th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Marcelino Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Lauaxeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Iraido having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
