Cholila's Eugenio Abeita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cholila from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Prospero Garaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Abeita having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cholila's Armando Gartzea got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Virgilio Horado sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eugenio Abeita threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Virgilio Horado this time. Americo Sanson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cholila! The supporters of Cholila booed when Angel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cholila defense, Enrique Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Abeita. The Cholila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Abeita should have stopped the shot. Eugenio Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Ieltxu in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cholila's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Ieltxu came free, but Eugenio Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Ieltxu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Abeita saved Cholila from getting behind. When Lisandro Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Angel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. Cholila's Eugenio Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Ieltxu in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cholila's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Ieltxu came free, but Eugenio Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Gutierrez in the 67th minute of play forced Cholila's goalkeeper Eugenio Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Enrique Gutierrez made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Abeita. Cholila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eugenio Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Ieltxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, one of Cholila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cholila. Eugenio Abeita went to the wrong direction when Virgilio Horado was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Enrique Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Ieltxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Eliseo Luke made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Victorio Azibar sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, David Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
