Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Evis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Jaime Evis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Guipuzkoa was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Jaime Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cosme Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nequen's Aquiles Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Koldobika in the 7th minute of play. Aquiles Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Timoteo Koldobika ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Gartxot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sergio Transito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sergio Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Koldobika in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Casimiro Felo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Gartxot skillfully saved the ball. Aquiles Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Koldobika in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nequen's goalkeeper Aquiles Gartxot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Nequen's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Koldobika came free, but Aquiles Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nequen's zone, Sergio Transito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Gartxot came out of the goal and Sergio Transito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Guipuzkoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Figueroa in the 40th minute. Jaime Evis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Guipuzkoa having to make a save. After the first half CA La Marea Roja were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Koldobika to make the kick off. Timoteo Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aquiles Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Nequen got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Sesuldo. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Timoteo Koldobika took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Aquiles Gartxot to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Koldobika in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Gartxot saved Nequen from getting behind. Timoteo Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Gartxot having to interfere. Nequen's Aquiles Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Koldobika in the 68th minute of play. Fulgencio Sesuldo's late challenge caught a CA La Marea Roja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Sesuldo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CA La Marea Roja booed when Nequen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Koldobika in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, one of Nequen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nequen. Aquiles Gartxot went to the wrong direction when Adrian Guerau was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Emanuel Pueblo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nequen's protests and gave Emanuel Pueblo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Nequen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Gartxot having to interfere. Jaime Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cosme Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Koldobika was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. CA La Marea Roja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aquiles Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Pueblo was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emanuel Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. CA La Marea Roja's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
