Everyone was convinced a goal was close when VK fc's Fabricio Osmundo in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eugenio Abeita was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cholila through an amazing save. When Domingos Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cholila's protests and gave Domingos Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. Bartolo Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Abeita having to interfere. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Fabricio Osmundo sped through Cholila's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Abeita. After 95 played minutes Cholila got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Patxi.
