Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Bemabe started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Rene Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Scoponi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Angelino Inge lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cristobal Peter. Göksun Temizsoy came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristobal Peter could save by the left post. C. A. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Göksun Temizsoy scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Peter, making the score, 2-0. Angelino Inge had several of the C. A. River Plate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Cristobal Peter as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 16th minute Casimiro Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Göksun Temizsoy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Peter. The goal made the score 4-0. 21 minutes into the game, Julian Gurutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Proyecto Resurgir F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, C. A. River Plate's Julian Gurutz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Norberto Scoponi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Gurutz in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Angelino Inge took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Cristobal Peter to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Gurutz came free, but Norberto Scoponi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Inge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Cristobal Peter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfredo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Peter having to interfere. With his leg Cristobal Peter managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s Angelino Inge fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelino Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C. A. River Plate's Julian Gurutz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s Norberto Scoponi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Deunoro in the 56th minute of play. Cristobal Peter came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s Göksun Temizsoy. But to his dismay, Göksun Temizsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mehmet Emin Kökten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emin Kökten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Peter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Peter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Emin Kökten's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes C. A. River Plate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Flores who took care of the corner kick. Rene Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Norberto Scoponi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Mehmet Emin Kökten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Proyecto Resurgir F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arsenio Salvidor hit a great ball. When Proyecto Resurgir F.C.'s Mehmet Emin Kökten in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Emin Kökten in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Peter saved C. A. River Plate from getting behind. Fabio Weather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Casimiro Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Proyecto Resurgir F.C. fully deserved thier win.
