The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LOS MASACRADORES AF's Santos Raymon got a free kick in the 24th minute. Roberto Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Evaristo Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Aguirre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaristo Gustau. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 39th minute, Fabio Rivero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Rivero was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Jaume didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Fabio Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Gorbea having to interfere. If Nicanor Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberdi Jrs.'s Fabio Rivero got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Fabio Rivero lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Clodoveo Gorbea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Rivero in the 73rd minute of play forced LOS MASACRADORES AF's goalkeeper Clodoveo Gorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Rivero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Clodoveo Gorbea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evaristo Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Uxio in the 77th minute of the match. Alberdi Jrs.'s Evaristo Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Uxio in the 79th minute of play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tobias Uxio sped through Alberdi Jrs.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Gustau. If Fabio Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Clodoveo Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Conrado Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Alberdi Jrs. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Patxi couldn't finish the play. Fabio Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Clodoveo Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eduardo Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Alberdi Jrs. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Silvanito couldn't finish the play. The LOS MASACRADORES AF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
