Geronimo Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Diagur charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Diagur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Cleto Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes, Mariscal Roberto Perfumo's Alfonso Aimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Madaleno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariscal Roberto Perfumo reached it. Roberto Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rafael Guilabertus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Valery came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Guilabertus slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 96th minute. Caranchos de Adrogue FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
