An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Isaac Quintyn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isaac Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes in the game, Gogo Ubelteso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Siro Bertin having to interfere. The supporters of ♫♫♫♫ All In Youthful ♫♫♫♫ booed when CA RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Abel's late challenge caught a CA RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Abel helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Abel hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Sixto Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA RIVER PLATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sixto Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA RIVER PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
