The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Lixandro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Natanael. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Boston United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Berdaitz came free, but Simon Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Gogo Ubelteso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simon Natanael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Simon Natanael was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Benedicto Berdaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Berdaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Diego Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Natanael having to interfere. Gogo Ubelteso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, CA RIVER PLATE's Simon Natanael threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gogo Ubelteso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Boston United defense, Diego Lixandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Natanael. The Boston United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Natanael should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Ubelteso to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Boston United got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Ramos. In the 54th minute, Gogo Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Natanael having to interfere. Simon Natanael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Quintyn went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Boston United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Berdaitz came free, but Simon Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Boston United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eduardo Abarca hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Gogo Ubelteso notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Boston United's Simon Natanael. Simon Natanael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Lixandro in the 69th minute of the match. Benigno Segio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of CA RIVER PLATE booed when Boston United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Kepa's late challenge caught a CA RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Kepa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Boston United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Kepa to maneuver through the defense. CA RIVER PLATE's Isaac Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Quintyn in the 86th minute of play forced Boston United's goalkeeper Simon Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Boston United defense, Diego Lixandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Natanael. The Boston United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Natanael should have stopped the shot. Paulino Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Kepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Isaac Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isaac Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes of play, CA RIVER PLATE's Benedicto Berdaitz made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Natanael was left in no man's land by his defense there!
