Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Tonio kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ciro Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Napier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Jusepe in the 12th minute of play forced Carril's goalkeeper Urbano Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Napier came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Merlo fc's Ciro Jusepe. But to his dismay, Ciro Jusepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Enrique Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute of the match, Pablo Salvatore tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Oalo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ciro Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Atilano Tonio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Napier was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Urbano Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Tonio in the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Atilano Tonio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Napier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Atilano Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jose Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carril's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Oalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Dodorol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ciro Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merlo fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carril's Urbano Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Tonio in the 57th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Carril got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Salvatore. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carril fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Gerardo Goizeder shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Urbano Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Tonio in the 66th minute of the match. If Atilano Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pablo Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ciro Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Tonio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Carril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Napier came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Merlo fc's Atilano Tonio. But to his dismay, Atilano Tonio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Enrique Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Carril fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Quintyn couldn't finish the play. The Carril fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merlo fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
