Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Explosivo FC's Everardo Virila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carolo Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Ler in the 3rd minute of play. Mario Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Calixto having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Mario Derwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Calixto was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Everardo Virila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everardo Virila really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Explosivo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Illart came free, but Carolo Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Explosivo FC's Mario Derwin got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Arnoldo Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Córdoba Azulgrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Kaxen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Córdoba Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Explosivo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Córdoba Azulgrana's Arnoldo Kaxen got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Mario Derwin came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Explosivo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Derwin couldn't finish the play. Mario Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Calixto having to interfere. If Mario Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Córdoba Azulgrana's Hipolito Barbosa got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Kaxen to make the kick off. If Angel Illart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Felix Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Derwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Calixto having to make a save. Melquiades Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Virila in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Illart got free with Carolo Gasteiz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipolito Barbosa's late challenge caught a Explosivo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Arnoldo Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Córdoba Azulgrana's Ceferino Chale got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Arnoldo Kaxen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
