Borghi's Amancio Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Dalmau in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jairo Piorno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bartolo Totakoxe, passed just outside the right post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Borghi's Jairo Piorno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bartolo Totakoxe. Bartolo Totakoxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 36 played minutes Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Urti. When Oscar Esdras fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borghi's protests and gave Oscar Esdras a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Esdras. When Rodeo's Higinio Emeterio in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borghi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Jairo Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Higinio Emeterio made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Bernardino Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Emeterio in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Rodeo booed when Borghi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Borghi's Jairo Piorno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Totakoxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damaso Ariando hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jairo Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borghi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Totakoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Igor Eguerdi put in a rough tackle. Higinio Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justo Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borghi's Amancio Loi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Borghi from getting a goal against them. If Roman Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodeo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
