Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Raulo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cienega's Hernan Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Henric in the 10th minute of play. Placido Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Adan Chabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cienega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wygan Vale the free kick. Adan Chabier hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Carlos Raulo scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Libertad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adan Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Lain having to interfere. If Lucas Buxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Raulo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Libertad. Hernan Libertad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Carlos Raulo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Libertad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Raulo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Raulo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Libertad having to make a save. After some careless play in the Cienega defense, Carlos Raulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Libertad. The Cienega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Libertad should have stopped the shot. Hernan Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Raulo in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Anibal Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Libertad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Adan Chabier made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Hernan Libertad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hernan Libertad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anibal Henric showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. When Lucas Buxton came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Wygan Vale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Buxton couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Carlos Raulo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Libertad. Cienega's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Raulo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 71 minutes into the game, Anibal Henric cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Hernan Libertad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Placido Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wygan Vale's Placido Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Chabier in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Wygan Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Raulo in the 92nd minute of play forced Cienega's goalkeeper Hernan Libertad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Henric in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Libertad prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
