The referee showed Jonatan Esdras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ezequiel Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Paez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Raulo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Carlos Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wygan Vale's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Raulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Paez came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Wygan Vale's Anibal Henric. But to his dismay, Anibal Henric quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leonardo Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Buxton hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Henric in the 78th minute of play. Placido Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Lain having to interfere. Gilberto Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Placido Lain made a huge save. Placido Lain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Mino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 91 minute of play. Carlos Raulo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Paez. Ezequiel Paez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. There was no doubt that Wygan Vale were the better team. Wygan Vale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
