Spectators: 6510 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgilio Mundo kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, LA LOMA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Raulo came free, but Marcial Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Raulo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Bastian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Marcial Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Raulo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Pedro Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Placido Lain made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Wygan Vale's zone, Fabricio Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Lain came out of the goal and Fabricio Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Carlos Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Dolfo got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Virgilio Mundo. Virgilio Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Placido Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Virgilio Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA LOMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Mundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wygan Vale's goalkeeper Placido Lain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabricio Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LA LOMA booed when Wygan Vale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Wygan Vale getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Erubiel Etxatxu hit a great ball. Enzo Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Anibal Henric might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Bastian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Henric ran back to his position shaking his head. The Wygan Vale fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Wygan Vale's Carlos Raulo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 48th minute, Mariano Palos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Carlos Raulo made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes LA LOMA got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Dolfo. Lucas Buxton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Bastian. LA LOMA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Raulo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Bastian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Mariano Palos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wygan Vale's Placido Lain. Placido Lain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquilino Baristo in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Mundo in the 73rd minute of play forced Wygan Vale's goalkeeper Placido Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Carlos Raulo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcial Bastian, passed just outside the right post. Marcial Bastian was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Carlos Raulo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Raulo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
