Leonardo Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Criston having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Naelio in the 11th minute of play forced Wygan Vale's goalkeeper Placido Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Spinetta Jade booed when Wygan Vale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wygan Vale's Carlos Raulo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Wygan Vale's Anibal Henric made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Criston was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Spinetta Jade's zone, Carlos Raulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Criston came out of the goal and Carlos Raulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Criston having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anibal Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wygan Vale's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Henric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Criston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Raulo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Criston. Silverio Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Enzo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anibal Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Raulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Raulo was the one to do the kick off. Benigno Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Carlos Raulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After having played for 82 minutes, Carlos Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wygan Vale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Raulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Carlos Raulo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wygan Vale had played much better football throughout.
