Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Borghi's Jairo Piorno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Casaca Albiceleste booed when Borghi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Karlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Loi having to interfere. Osvaldo Sedeni's late challenge caught a Casaca Albiceleste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Sedeni helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borghi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Narciso Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Loi had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Gualterio Azeari's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute Jairo Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Lizer hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ricardo Lizer's late challenge caught a Borghi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Lizer helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Casaca Albiceleste got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Lizer. 21 minutes into the match, Borghi's Hipolito Sotero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Justo Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Caitano having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match Gualterio Azeari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Loi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Borghi getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Oscar Esdras hit a great ball. Bartolo Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Loi having to interfere. Jairo Piorno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Caitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Candido Sansone made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Justo Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borghi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Salvidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Franco in the 63rd minute of the match. Casaca Albiceleste's Narciso Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borghi's Amancio Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Franco in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Borghi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Karlo to maneuver through the defense. Casaca Albiceleste's Candido Sansone got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Jairo Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nicanor Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Candido Sansone notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Borghi's Amancio Loi. Amancio Loi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, one of Casaca Albiceleste:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Nicanor Caitano, was totally fooled by Borghi's Hipolito Sotero, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Casaca Albiceleste were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borghi for a fine match.
