After 11 minutes, Patricio Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RACING FC and the Club Union Crespo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Viator hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Benedicto Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Union Crespo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club Union Crespo booed when RACING FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Benedicto Bihar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of RACING FC's Damian Santikurtz. Damian Santikurtz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Severo Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Union Crespo's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Tano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Saturnino Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Union Crespo and the RACING FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruperto Martino scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Bartolome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruperto Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Tano in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes RACING FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Viator. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Tano in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Santikurtz saved RACING FC from getting behind. Flavio Cedro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Dario Mino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Santikurtz skillfully saved the ball. Damian Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
