Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Club Union Crespo's Severo Tano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Siro Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derya Yalazalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. CSD Boedo's Derya Yalazalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Tano in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Garci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Bartolome. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Florencio Gaitan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derya Yalazalp skillfully saved the ball. Cornelio Bartolome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Garci in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Boedo's zone, Conrado Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derya Yalazalp came out of the goal and Conrado Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Abeitia's late challenge caught a Club Union Crespo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Abeitia helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes CSD Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Abeitia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Tano in the 31st minute of play forced CSD Boedo's goalkeeper Derya Yalazalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Siro Rius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Boedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Siro Rius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cornelio Bartolome made a huge save. Siro Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cornelio Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Siro Rius fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Benedicto Bihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifacio Garci made a kick off. In the 69th match minute, Club Union Crespo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Ponc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Club Union Crespo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Derya Yalazalp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th match minute, Club Union Crespo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Mino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Union Crespo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Conrado Maldonado hit a great ball. Benedicto Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derya Yalazalp having to interfere. Club Union Crespo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
