In the 9th match minute, Tisca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Asier to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Tajo's late challenge caught a El Gran Chaná's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Tajo helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tisca FC! Silverio Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Pagomari in the 22nd minute. Tisca FC's Silverio Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Bertran in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Pablo Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tisca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Harriet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Pablo Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Pagomari in the 36th minute. When Pablo Harriet came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tisca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Harriet couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Harriet in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Abar saved El Gran Chaná from getting behind. Ciro Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Harriet in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Silverio Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tisca FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Evelio Txordon hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Pablo Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, El Gran Chaná's Hilario Bertran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Roano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of El Gran Chaná booed when Tisca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Harriet in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to El Gran Chaná getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Norberto Amato hit a great ball. Pablo Harriet made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ciro Abar would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Flavio Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Gran Chaná fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tisca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
