Severo Tano started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Olavo de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lester Rahamut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Pillahuincó's Olavo de Azevedo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pillahuincó's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Bartolome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes, Olavo de Azevedo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Union Crespo's Cornelio Bartolome tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Olavo de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillahuincó's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Bartolome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saturnino Aznaro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Olavo de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Bartolome having to interfere. Lester Rahamut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Olavo de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pillahuincó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 46thth minute of the game Olavo de Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Union Crespo's Cornelio Bartolome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo de Azevedo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Saturnino Aznaro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Sebastian Edwardo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pillahuincó's protests and gave Sebastian Edwardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Club Union Crespo's Cornelio Bartolome got control of the ball when Olavo de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Benedicto Bihar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Union Crespo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pillahuincó the free kick. Benedicto Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pillahuincó's Dante Gaizkine was substituted for Jacinto Basajaun. The supporters of Pillahuincó booed when Club Union Crespo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olavo de Azevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 63rd playminute. If Olavo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Club Union Crespo's goalkeeper Cornelio Bartolome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olavo de Azevedo. When Pillahuincó's Olavo de Azevedo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Cornelio Bartolome managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Pillahuincó's Olavo de Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Olavo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Olavo de Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Cornelio Bartolome was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cornelio Bartolome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo de Azevedo in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Sebastian Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pillahuincó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Edwardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olavo de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cornelio Bartolome didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pillahuincó. With a little luck, Club Union Crespo's Cornelio Bartolome got control of the ball when Lester Rahamut tried to sneak it across the goal line.
