Nicolas Tajo's late challenge caught a C.A.FANTASYA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Tajo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A.FANTASYA booed when Chichinales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Primo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes C.A.FANTASYA got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Primo. In the 12th minute Alvaro Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Primo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Alvaro Fernanco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A.FANTASYA's Carlos Berto. Carlos Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Chichinales's Guido Perutxo got control of the ball when Bartolo Romano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Primo in the 49th minute of play forced Chichinales's goalkeeper Guido Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.A.FANTASYA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chichinales were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Fernanco was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Cortez in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for C.A.FANTASYA. Tomás Galtero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guido Perutxo. 1-1. Guido Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Primo in the 69th minute of the match. Bartolo Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Ulises Leizarraga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Chichinales's Benigno Flores got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Chichinales defense, Bartolo Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Perutxo. The Chichinales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Perutxo should have stopped the shot. C.A.FANTASYA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
