The supporters of Rawson booed when Amadores Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Rawson's Simon Mercurio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paolo Lastur. Paolo Lastur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Amadores Fc's goalkeeper Paolo Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Presebal. Paolo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Maurin in the 22nd minute. Jose Nofre scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Acevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paolo Lastur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Inocencio Nafarroa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Mercurio in the 32nd minute of play forced Amadores Fc's goalkeeper Paolo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Presebal went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Paolo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Rene Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Amadores Fc's Paolo Lastur got control of the ball when Silvio Maurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rawson's Atilano Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Serafo in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Rawson got a freekick which was hit by Simon Mercurio.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Nofre to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ulises Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Feo got free with Atilano Acevedo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Seber in the 58th minute of play forced Rawson's goalkeeper Atilano Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Norberto Francis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atilano Acevedo. Norberto Francis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Agostinho Veloso came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atilano Acevedo could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Benedicto Serafo could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Atilano Acevedo however easily saved by the left post. Norberto Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Mercurio in the 70th minute of play forced Amadores Fc's goalkeeper Paolo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Eusebio Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rawson's Atilano Acevedo got control of the ball when Benedicto Serafo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rawson's Atilano Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Nofre in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Amadores Fc getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jose Nofre hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Presebal in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Melquiades Seber put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Atilano Acevedo. Paolo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Amadores Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Nofre to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, Amadores Fc's Jose Nofre made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
