After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rene Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawson's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Mercurio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Lia having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rene Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Claus made a kick off. Teodoro Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Love F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Presebal came free, but Omar Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Love F.C's zone, Simon Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Lia came out of the goal and Simon Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Mercurio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Lia saved Love F.C from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rawson's Inocencio Nafarroa got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ignacio Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Cosme Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gabriel Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Atilano Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Acevedo having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rawson fans cheered their team off the field, for while Love F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
