Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5524, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roque Lope started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, ACF Cocciuto 1993's Mario Jardel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Elorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Lope in the 7th minute of play forced ACF Cocciuto 1993's goalkeeper Celestino Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, ACF Cocciuto 1993's Mario Jardel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Elorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Damian Gelacio struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Oscar Elorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Cocciuto 1993. 19 minutes into the match, Mario Jardel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Olavarría's Oscar Elorri. Oscar Elorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Damian Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Elorri came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Cocciuto 1993's Mario Jardel. But to his dismay, Mario Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 28 minutes, Melquiades Pepillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olavarría and the ACF Cocciuto 1993 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Olavarría was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Elorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Jardel in the 34th minute. Mario Jardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 minutes of play Olavarría's Melquiades Pepillo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ACF Cocciuto 1993 booed when Olavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Jardel might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Elorri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Jardel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mario Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Gelacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Jardel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Oscar Elorri made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Jardel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ACF Cocciuto 1993's Damian Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes, Hector Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olavarría and the ACF Cocciuto 1993 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Olavarría was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Matthew to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Vilhelm Lövskog shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Elorri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mario Jardel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oscar Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Mario Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Donio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Elorri having to make a save. In the 63rd minute Nico Otamendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Otamendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Elorri having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Flavio Edorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mario Jardel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Elorri was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. ACF Cocciuto 1993's Mario Jardel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Gelacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Elorri having to make a save. Mario Jardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Mario Jardel notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Olavarría's Oscar Elorri. Oscar Elorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 87 minutes, Damian Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Cocciuto 1993's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Gelacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ACF Cocciuto 1993's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
