To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, AEPGRAF's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jardel came free, but Santiago Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Damian Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AEPGRAF's Santiago Vincent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Donio in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Nestor Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEPGRAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACF Cocciuto 1993 the free kick. Santiago Vincent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute ACF Cocciuto 1993 were awarded a corner. Vilhelm Lövskog went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Antonio Donio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mario Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACF Cocciuto 1993's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Jardel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Vincent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute of the match ACF Cocciuto 1993 got a corner. AEPGRAF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vilhelm Lövskog ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Mario Jardel to score against Santiago Vincent in AEPGRAF's goal. 0-1 after 54 minutes. Mario Jardel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Vincent having to make a save. In the 64th minute Mario Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Damian Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Hitzeder in the 75th minute of play forced AEPGRAF's goalkeeper Santiago Vincent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Urbano Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ACF Cocciuto 1993 booed when AEPGRAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AEPGRAF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ACF Cocciuto 1993 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
