Isaac Naldo's late challenge caught a Luca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Bastian in the 4th minute of the match. Siro Esdras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Berenguer made a huge save. Saul Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ciriaco Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca were furious when Aldo Sengrat was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 15th minute, one of Luca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luca. With his leg Ciriaco Berenguer managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Bathurst FC's Ermegildo Tibalt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Luca's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Gilen came free, but Ciriaco Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Berenguer was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Saul Gines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saul Gines really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Juan Gilen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bathurst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Gilen couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Saul Gines recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciriaco Berenguer. Saul Gines showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Saul Gines came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bathurst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Gines couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Urbasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Gines in the 43rd minute of play. Luca's Ciriaco Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Luca from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute of the match, Saul Gines tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciriaco Berenguer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Bastian made a kick off. Juan Gilen hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Godofredo Sanduru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bathurst FC the free kick. A collision led to Luca getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Godofredo Sanduru hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Saul Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Bathurst FC's Ermegildo Tibalt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Berenguer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Saul Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Saul Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bathurst FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ciriaco Berenguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Tibalt's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Saul Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Berenguer having to interfere. Ermegildo Tibalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ciriaco Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Saul Gines notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Luca's Ciriaco Berenguer. Ciriaco Berenguer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
