In the 3rd match minute, Papin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Ostots to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Gergori was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Marcelino Milio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelino Milio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Gabriel Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papin AFC's protests and gave Gabriel Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Papin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Frutos. Martin Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Argenis in the 34th minute of play. Serafino Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aquilino Argenis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Papin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Argenis couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Abecia got free with Christian Gergori in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marcelino Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Jordy's late challenge caught a Papin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Jordy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Julian Jordy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calilegua's Martin Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Argenis in the 58th minute of play. Segundo Abecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Gergori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Christian Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Abecia in the 67th minute of the match. After 70th play minutes Marcelino Milio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Christian Gergori and just under the crossbar into goal. After 73 played minutes Calilegua got a freekick which was hit by Julian Jordy. In the 76th of the match, Aquilino Argenis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Martin Caton got in the way and made a wonderful save. Marcelino Milio struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Christian Gergori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calilegua. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Milio in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Gergori saved Papin AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Papin AFC booed when Calilegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes, Papin AFC's Ariel Flores shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin Caton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Papin AFC reached it. Aquilino Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Martin Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Calilegua fully deserved thier win.
