Silverio Quexal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Jerico in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Salvator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jonatan Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juanillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liniers FC's goalkeeper Silverio Quexal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Angelo Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Juanillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Lordi couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Jonatan Laurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Liniers FC could leave the field as winners, despite Juanillo FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
