The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juanillo FC's Honorato Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Gines in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Scialabba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Jerico came free, but Ivan Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Scialabba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Gines to maneuver through the defense. Scialabba FC's Virgilio Emesto got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Scialabba FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fabian Regis hit a great ball. Pastor Jerico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 26 minutes into the match, Juanillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Atarrabi came free, but Honorato Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pastor Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Scialabba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Macario to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Juanillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Atarrabi came free, but Honorato Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Endura hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jonatan Laurin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Juanillo FC defense, Fabian Regis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Tonio. The Juanillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Tonio should have stopped the shot. Ivan Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Virgilio Emesto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 50thth minute tested the skills of Honorato Tonio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Juanillo FC booed when Scialabba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juanillo FC's Pastor Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Jonatan Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Juanillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Atarrabi came free, but Honorato Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Fabian Regis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Honorato Tonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Scialabba FC's Virgilio Emesto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Honorato Tonio. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, Juanillo FC's goalkeeper Honorato Tonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Emesto. Epifanio Macario made a great header on Scialabba FC's corner, it was just that Juanillo FC's Honorato Tonio managed to reach the ball for a save. Juanillo FC's Honorato Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Juanillo FC from getting a goal against them. Honorato Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Tabor in the 70th minute of play. Virgilio Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Tonio having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Fabian Regis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorato Tonio. The goal made the score 0-4. 82 minutes into the game, Efrain Atarrabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Honorato Tonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgilio Emesto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorato Tonio. That made the score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. The referee gave Scialabba FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Epifanio Macario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juanillo FC's Honorato Tonio. 0-7. Virgilio Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Scialabba FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Efrain Atarrabi hit a great ball. The Scialabba FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scialabba FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
