The tension between the Club Deportivo Leoni and the Deportivo El Tala players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Leoni's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Mendez came free, but Nunez Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Club Deportivo Leoni got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Oro. Nunez Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Mendez's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Federigo came free, but Melchor Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Martxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Tristan having to interfere. Club Deportivo Leoni's Nunez Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Mendez in the 38th minute of play. Nunez Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Mendez made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Emiliano Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo El Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Melquiades Erramu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Leoni and the Deportivo El Tala players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deportivo El Tala's Hermengildo Martxot got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Atilano Niguel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo El Tala were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Deportivo Leoni for a fine match.
