After having played for 9 minutes, Angelo Lordi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juanillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Lordi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match, Aquilino Argenis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Honorato Tonio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aquilino Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Juanillo FC's Honorato Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Juanillo FC from getting a goal against them. When Pastor Jerico came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Juanillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Jerico couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Juanillo FC's goalkeeper Honorato Tonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Ostots. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Argenis in the 42nd minute of play forced Juanillo FC's goalkeeper Honorato Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Jerico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Gergori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Jerico to make the kick off. Pastor Jerico struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Papin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Ostots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafino Ostots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Serafino Ostots hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Christian Gergori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Jerico's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Eloy Ledesma charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Ledesma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Lordi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Gergori firmly grabbed it by the left post. Papin AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pastor Jerico 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Aquilino Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
