When Jonas Orland fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Jonas Orland a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Orland hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Bulnes fc's Anacleto Papo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Quexal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bulnes fc's Moises Barros has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 13th minute. Victorino Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Orti having to interfere. Anacleto Papo scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Victorino Barto struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bonifacio Orti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. After 31 played minutes, Bulnes fc's Rey Dolar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Quexal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bulnes fc reached it. When Cecilio Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Onofre couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Orti having to interfere. Bonifacio Orti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Dario Quexal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anacleto Papo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Cecilio Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Orti having to interfere. Pedro Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Cecilio Onofre made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Anacleto Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Quexal having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Bulnes fc's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Barto came free, but Bonifacio Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bonifacio Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Papo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Quexal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hermengildo Oliviero hit a great ball. If Anacleto Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Orland was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Orland to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Quexal having to interfere. With a little luck, River Plate's Dario Quexal got control of the ball when Anacleto Papo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pedro Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anacleto Papo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bulnes fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Papo couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Barto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Victorino Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Orti having to interfere. Bonifacio Orti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Barto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Bulnes fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River Plate.
