Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Harkaitz in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Copetonas FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Brais. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas FC's zone, Oscar Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Ler came out of the goal and Oscar Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copetonas FC's goalkeeper Genaro Ler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Felipo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Copetonas FC booed when Argentino del Sur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Indartsu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Artemio Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copetonas FC. Copetonas FC's Genaro Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Silbestre in the 24th minute of play. Celso Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Genaro Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Copetonas FC's goalkeeper Genaro Ler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Abaurre. If Oscar Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Argentino del Sur FC booed when Copetonas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Silbestre made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Abaurre in the 58th minute of play forced Copetonas FC's goalkeeper Genaro Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Harkaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Argentino del Sur FC's Oscar Abaurre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Ler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Genaro Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
