Clodoveo Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Eutropio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasión Villera the free kick. In the 27th minute, Clodoveo Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Medero in the 34th minute of play forced Pasión Villera's goalkeeper Eustacio Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pasión Villera's Eustacio Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Enekoitz in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Enekoitz made a kick off. If Eduardo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of El Boca Juniors booed when Pasión Villera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Emmanuel having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Pasión Villera got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Gaztea. In the 87th minute of the match Baltasar Geofredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Emmanuel skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Pasión Villera's Gualterio Dino got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 95th minute, Raul Brun made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Emmanuel. Pasión Villera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pasión Villera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
