Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Elodio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Ponc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Florentino Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Serafin Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Nastasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caimancito's zone, Serafin Nastasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Ponc came out of the goal and Serafin Nastasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Prejun got free with Aristides Arixo in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Nastasio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Caimancito's Godfredo Montxo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Victorino Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aristides Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Boca getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rene Mendez hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Boca's Serafin Nastasio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázaro Ponc. Lázaro Ponc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lázaro Ponc made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Haroldo Maurin sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th of the match, Serafin Nastasio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lázaro Ponc got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Serafin Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Efrain Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Ponc. Caimancito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Prejun in the 96th minute of play forced Boca's goalkeeper Aristides Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
