In the 26th minute, Pedro Geleberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Arrecifes AFC booed when Arrutó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Gelebertos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Leo Kinsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ezequiel Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emanuel Loramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Escobar took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Loramendi. Emanuel Loramendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Ezequiel Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Leandro Quintan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrecifes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrutó the free kick. A collision led to Arrecifes AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Leandro Quintan hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Gaspard in the 52nd minute of play forced Arrecifes AFC's goalkeeper Emanuel Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Arrutó got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Gaspard. Pedro Geleberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ezequiel Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrutó's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Loramendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrutó's Epifanio Gaspard got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Geleberto struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Leo Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrecifes AFC. In the 80th minute Epifanio Gaspard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Arrecifes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Gaspard came free, but Emanuel Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
